We took part in the National Military Tournament at Wright Patterson in spring of 1989. There was 7s tournament which KBay did well in, winning it. Then we played British Royal Engineers. We got spanked. It was kind of weird because we won the tournament and thought we were good . Then reality got us with the Brits.
Hawaii was a very active military rugby place during this time.
