We talked MWR into buying us a full kit, top to bottom. Hershel West had never played before that cruise but was strong as all get out, fast. and generally athletic. We made the maiden USS TR/CVN-71 cruise DEC88 - JUN89, formed a ship's team and played all over the Med (only lost to the Brit Expats in Cairo/beat those snobbish french-f*ckers in Toulon). We talked MWR into buying us a full kit, top to bottom. Hershel West had never played before that cruise but was strong as all get out, fast. and generally athletic.
