From the many bases, there was never a military team, although the San Antonio RFC was started by Harry Laws (USAF) in 1971 and Larry Romo (USAF) was deeply involved in the other San Antonio side, Alamo City RFC.
1984 - 12 Military members played for the first season of Alamo City, including Capt Art Wallace, Army
