Baumholder started in the spring of 1980. Early players included Barry Bruening, Billy Powers, Gordy Crom, Mike Dennis, some brits, guys from 1/87 Infantry and Steve McNari. Played our first game against Lloyd 'Lolly's' Scott's Kaiserslautern team and won! Beautiful sunny day, by nighttime it was snowing. Played matches against weisbaden, augsberg, Bamberg, Nurnberg, illsheim, some visiting Brits, the Frankfurt /3AD crew, and made a trip with the K-town team to Allsburg 7s. Steve left in Dec 82 and believe Dan the Man Flaherty, Karl, and others picked up the team.
