Mentioned in the 1988 and 1989 Combined Services Handbook, contacts of Bill Leake, Randy Hukka and Glen Troster, and there was a team there at that time that was a mix of military and civilian.
Capt Glen Troster (an F-111 pilot in the 523TFS) started the team (not sure of the year). Bill Leake got there in 89 and started playing and coaching with him. Glen got orders to go fly the OV-10 and was handing the team off to Bill when both Glen and Mike Barrett, his WSO, were killed in a training accident. Bill ended up taking over the team 4 months earlier than planned. They could not keep enough players and the team folded around 1991.
