From the many bases, there was never a military team, although the San Antonio RFC was started by Harry Laws in 1971 and Larry Romo was deeply involved in the other San Antonio side. Contacts listed in the 1989 Combined Services Handbook were Mitch Lynch, Charlie Cotter, Tim Murphy and Larry Romo
