From the many bases, there was never a military team, although the San Antonio RFC was started by Harry Laws (USAF) in 1971 and Larry Romo (USAF) was deeply involved in the other San Antonio side.
Took part in the Military National Tournaments in the spring of 1985 and 1986. Participated in the Open division in 1987 (combining with Ellsworth) and again as a stand alone team in the open division in 1990
Contacts listed in the 1988 and 1989 Combined Services Handbook were Mitch Lynch, Charlie Cotter, Tim Murphy and Larry Romo
1990 Air Force trialist Jim Bachelor was at Kelly then.
