Lejeune plays clubs from all over the Carolinas, Georgia and Virginia. Many of the clubs members go on to play at the collegiate level, for the Marine Corps Old Breed and for the All-Marine Rugby Team. In August 2016 a women's team was founded by spouses and friends of players on the Misfits. The club currently hosts the Go Ruck Yourself Winter Classic Tournament on President's Day Weekend with its inaugural in 2015. Starting in August 2017, after taking the reigns from the defunct Cherry Point team, Lejeune will host the Blackbeard 7s Beach Rugby Tournament in Atlantic Beach, NC. |
