I was on the 89 AF team the first time we won, here in DC. Rick Coveno, Larry litrell, Tom Sharpy, Rick Metzger (I think rick) were on the team as well. The trip was highlighted by a 5min plus stand where we held off navy at the 3 M line. Tom Sharpy wasn't playing that match and he was beside himself running behind the try zone yelling at the top of his lungs "they aint scoring!! Don't let them fucking score!!" Etc. Really fired us up and we held them off to win the match. I remember beating the USMC as well, don't remember the USA game results. Seems like a lifetime ago, although I really remember my time with the young lady I brought along with me...
