Wright-Patterson AFB Rugby Football Club
Started in spring of 1981 by military members playing for the Miami Valley RFC, and they went on to win the military club championship that spring. The team was formally disbanded in 1992, combining with the Dayton Argyles to form the Dayton Flying Pigs. Contacts with the downtown team remained strong for several years

Women's Seasons
There was never a women's team at Wright Patterson, but for the Dayton team, the first women's squad was started in 1979 and lasted into the next decade. The Women's squad was reformed in 1999 by Lola Akinmade.
