Introduction
There were some organizational efforts that mirrored the UK Combined Services organization started by the newly created USA Rugby organization in 1974, but the efforts were in the hands of a civilian and only got off the ground when active duty ruggers became involved. The Combined Services initiative began in earnest in 1979 with the initiation of a Combined Services Newsletter and annual meetings with Combined Services Committee Minutes documenting our progress.
We have had many high ranking individuals observe and compliment our play, both home and aboard and a brief history can be found in our Combined Services Significant Events page.
