+ | From Mike Restey: the roster for the Little Rock Lyons is essentially the same for 1975 to 1977. This is the period during which I was assigned there before PCSing to Clark AB. There was little change in the roster. the majority of the players were pilots and navs from the various C-130 squadrons at Little Rock. The majority were from the 50th and 62nd TAS. Playing was not encouraged by the leadership but tolerated (due to potential injuries and DNIF) and at least once our squadron commander came to one of our matches. |

Several of the members had played at USAFA, a couple from West Point. When the squadron deployed to Mildenhall, through connections that Bobby had, we were able to practice with the Thetford RC and he actually played in one of their matches.
From Mike Restey: the roster for the Little Rock Lyons is essentially the same for 1975 to 1977. This is the period during which I was assigned there before PCSing to Clark AB. I was in the 50th along with Bobby Arnold, Sean Edris, Todd Chirko among many others. Several of them had been assigned to Little Rock from CCK in Taiwon. We played in the Ozark Rubgy Union which included teams from Little Rock, Ft Smith, Univ of Arkansas, Wichita Baptist, and others. Unfortunately did not keep any records on scores but we won most of our matches. There were several very good athletes and many had playing experience at the service academies.
