Funding and recognition continue to be an issue for the Women's team. The Army rep was the only one to vote for a women’s championship and was the only service to get behind Womens 7s Rugby with funding this year. Last year’s Air Force debut was all the work of Andy McQuade, who made the decision to use a portion of the men’s budget to get us off the ground in Vegas. Unfortunately that did not translate into a sustained funding stream, and we were not allocated any funding at all this year from Air Force Sports. | Funding and recognition continue to be an issue for the Women's team.
